Project: Contractor Market Place and Invoicing System

We worked with their CTO to develop a suite of tools for service providers that included a complete billing system, invoicing system and a social network for finding new project work. The end result is an application that makes it easy for home owners to engage quality home improvement contractors.

They wanted for us to develop a system that would allow their internal staff to build profiles that could easily be searched. They also wanted a system that would allow for them to send messages to the site's members. The ultimate goal of the site is to serve as simple tool for quickly building project teams.

Click to ViewSummary: SalonLofts needed a simple solution for helping their site visitors to find the right high end beautician. SalonLofts hired a branding firm to design an innovative yet elegant user interface. When it came time to implement the new design we were the clear choice since we had already proven our capability to implement complex user interfaces for a prior project. We leveraged the power of Jquery to deliver a seemless user interface. The end result is a tool that enables users to quickly locate top notch beauticians.

Project: Student Market Place
Click to ViewSummary: LifeAgora is a start-up that we partnered with in hopes of making it big. Technologically speaking this application is remarkable. Pick a technology buzzword and we had to use it for this project. The application contained 120+ database tables and hundreds of php files. As a start-up, LifeAgora raised capital from investors and landed fortune clients such as Cisco, Nationwide Insurance and Prentice Hall. In the end the start-up went under but it was a great ride and we learned a lot.

Project: Bob Goodlatte Political Website
Click to ViewSummary: EngageDC hired us to temporarily handle the overflow in projects that they were taking on. A developer had built a custom CMS for them that was in desperate need of some refactoring. We stepped in and refactored the defected system and delivered a couple of projects built on the renovated CMS. One of them is the Bob Goodlatte website.

Project: Scheduler
Click to ViewSummary: SalonLofts houses hundreds of independent entrepreneurs in the beauty industry. They partnered with us to develop an online scheduling tool that would be used by their tenants. We worked with the tenants directly to design a tool that they wanted to use. We modeled the tool after the Google Calendar. The tool required immense amounts of custom jquery and javascript. The end result is a seemless tool that clients can use to schedule appointments online.

Project: EliteOpenSourceJobs
Click to ViewSummary: Finding talented, committed web developers is tough. Really tough. EliteOpenSourceJobs (EOSJ) is a subsidiary of BlueChip, built to help connect talented freelancers and potential employers. To do this, BlueChip built a mobile job board which any Open Source Community can easily place on their site to generate revenue and help connect their members to freelance work.

Project: Hindsite Facebook Application
Click to ViewSummary: Advanced Learning Technologies came to BlueChip looking to leverage the social networking revolution to gather the stories of 15-24 year olds for its new publication. BlueChip suggested the Facebook Platform, and rapidly developed an effective application for gathering these unique stories.
